To answer some of your questions…
1.) yes, I customized this website myself. I used a template and simply tweeked the CSS and PHP to do what I wanted it to.
2.) My sites are monetized only because it came with my template but I do see the beauty of capitalizing from all of my creative works. All 98% of the articles are writing by me personally. All designs and layouts as well.
