girls night out Have yourself a Merry Little CocktailThis is the time not only for gifts, cooking, decorating and shopping but a time for what else…DRINKING!

Oh how I love that fact that there are so many holiday parties, family get togethers, and afterhour gatherings everywhere you go. So today I wanted to have a virtual cocktail with you after getting over our issues about when friends let us down and the crazy battle over my holiday foot fetish post.

Once again, let me just say that if you are reading this post and you do not drink… so sad, too bad. I DO! You can always remove the alcohol from these recipes that I’ve gathered. So PUT ON YOUR DRESSY DRESS and YOUR PUMPY PUMPS, put on your favorite Keyshia Cole song, PINK, Madonna, Christina Aguilera or whatever and lets get this party started!  Of course you know I’ve got to start out with my top 3 favorite cocktails right? My husband likes these drinks b/c he knows they will get me drunk. I love the

MIDORI SOUR

1 oz Midori® melon liqueur
1 oz whisky sour mix
2 oz Sprite® soda
2 cherries

Fill a highball glass with ice. Add the midori, sour mix and sprite, give a quick stir, and add cherries.

APPLETINI

1 1/2 oz Smirnoff® Green Apple Twist vodka (or Absolut® vodka)
1 oz DeKuyper® Sour Apple Pucker schnapps (or Peach schnapps for a nice twist)
Optional 1 part apple juice (or even sprite)

Stir ingredients together with crushed ice in a cocktail/martini glass, and serve.

COSMOPOLITAN

1 1/2 oz vodka
3/4 oz triple sec
3/4 oz cranberry juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
Pour the vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a cocktail glass, and serve
