Happy Hour for Moms Night In with Kate Perry

Submitted by thecocktailcafe on Friday, 17 April 20092 Comments

Come on mommies… get your dressy dress on and your pumpy pumps and lets DANCE!

This beverage is just like the song Hot n Cold by one of my favorite artist Kate Perry… a luscious balance between hot, steamy milk and a kiss of cold cognac and Bailys. So after a long hard week, relax and unwind with a little cocktail for your spirits and a song for your soul.

Strap on your stilettos ladies, the bar is OPEN!

cognac and cream cappuccino drink recipe Happy Hour for Moms Night In with Kate PerryCognac ‘n Cream Cappuccino Delight – from Cocktails, Maran Illustrated

3/4 oz. cognac
3/4 oz. Bailey’s Irish Creme
2 1/2 oz. steamed milk
1 1/2 oz. espresso cocoa powder
Add the cognac and Baileys to a preheated coffee glass. Slowly add the steamed milk and then the espresso to the glass. Froth milk until doubled in volume, foamed and frothy. Top the drink with milk foam, a sprinkle of cocoa powder and stir the drink.

About Kate’s Video:

Many have inquired what the hell that Zebra is doing in the video? Well, it represents the hot ‘n cold, yes ‘n no, in ‘n out, up ‘n down, black ‘n white thing OK?

Enjoy your weekend and be on the lookout for more recipes, events, and more.
