How Can WAHMs Create Brand Consistency in a Crowded Market?

Submitted by thecocktailcafe on Wednesday, 7 October 20093 Comments

BlogCrowd1 How Can WAHMs Create Brand Consistency in a Crowded Market? Its been so long since I’ve written at The Cocktail Cafe. My readers have missed me and I have missed you all. Thanks to my new subscribers who have supported my articles and point of view about marriage, motherhood and business. I have been so busy with a new baby on the way (my 4th child, thank you very much) in about 2 months…. drink please!

My time has been so stretched but I’ve struggled really focus on what I truly LOVE MOST. I love helping mothers balance between business  ownership, maintaining a healthy relationship and catering to the every demanding needs of our families.  With over 10 years helping other companies in the field of marketing, branding and business development, I recognized that none of them truly cared about me and what it takes to run a household and maintain a job and/or business. This is my first attempt at doing what I’ve done through my professional career. I am committing to ME for a change. How about that?

I have had the pleasure of exercising my writing skills as a freelance writer, personal and professional coach and mentor over at TheWorkAtHome Woman.com. In case you haven’t actually read my About statement on this blog, I believe that every mother is a working mother. So whether you’re a SAHM, WAHM, working mother, mom entrepreneur (better known as “mompreneur“) or corporate mom, we all share in our experiences as women.

The single greatest task that most mom business owners face in these trying times is, How to Create Brand Consistency in a Crowded Market and I was so delighted that I was asked about this topic and chosen by Holly to provide some inside and offer my 3 tips in order to become a celebrity in your own niche.

I’ve been working on my business website and blog over at @promomblogger but I find that The Cocktail Cafe is truly where I started and have grown in readers and followers. Therefore, let me start by saying thank you to all the working mothers, stay at home moms (SAHMs), work at home moms (WAHMs) and mom bloggers that have supported, inspired and mentored me over the years.

I hope that you enjoy my article and I encourage you to please comment and support me as I transition this blog and my vision for it into my new title as the WAHM Social Media Coach. My new blog is entitled Pro Mom Blogger and its still in its infancy stage but I have created a new tiwtter profile over at @ProMomBlogger. I think that my 10+ years working for companies big and small in the area of Marketing and Business Development surely qualifies don’t you?

Send in all of your questions, concerns, and ideas so that I can prepare some valuable articles for you that will serve you best. I am available for interview and/or writing articles for your blog if interested. Simply leave me a comment here or email me at “ProMomBlogger @ gmail.com” OK?

I’m so glad to see you back and congrats on the new baby. I am so glad you wrote this article as I’ve been thinking about branding and such. I am a life coach that help woman be true to themselves. By doing that they can find a way to spend more time with their family, and achieve their goals in a way that works for them and their life. No cookie cutter stuff here. But it seems that everyone is trying to tell moms to nurture themselves and such. So I definitely need help on figuring out how to stand out and let people know that I’m the one they need.
