Sarah Palin has joined the Fashion Elite?
Although I have positioned myself on the side of “Independent”, its no secret that since John McCain picked his Vice Presidential nominee, I initially felt a sense of pride that a mother of 5 children could actually pull of going from PTA to Governor and now a shot at the White House. But I just can’t help but question my initial reaction to Sarah Palin since she’s abandoned her soccer mom persona. There I was thinking this woman was an average “Jo”, when infact she’s joined the ranks of the fashion elite. Oh Sarah, you tricked me and to think that this entire time you’ve been cheating on me with Jimmy Choo! I wonder if Barack Obama’s wardrobe costs this much.
When Sarah Palin traded up her Naughty Monkey shoes for the likes of the fashion gods, she truly upgraded. I don’t know if I’m angry or jealous frankly since reading about all the big time shopping trips and high-end merchandise I only wish I could afford to buy for myself but can’t. From the woman that used to joke that her favorite designers were Patagonia and North Face (Michelle Obama’s been shopping at H&M but hey, she’s not running is she?), she now rocks only:

Clothes:
• Armani jacket $1,295, with matching pants, $575. Total: $1,350
• MaxMara Sovrana cowl-neck jacket, $965, with matching skirt, $340. Total: $1,305

Even though her campaign advisers stated that the $150,000 wardrobe were “campaign accessories”, since Politico reported her shopping sprees, Republicans publicly and privately have been expressing concern that this has compromised her standing as Senator McCain’s emissary to working class voters.
With all that crap said, I LOVE SARAH PALIN’S OUTFITS!!!! Check out the photos and see for yourself how the clothes can sometime make the woman (at least on first impression).

What an eye opener! At these prices, and the reported total at this point being $150K, one only wonders what the FINAL number will be??? On another note, she wears it all VERY WELL!
Fashion Elite for who the Have and definetly not for the have nots. She could have gotten the same look shopping a H&M and Nine West boots without spending 150 K, what a waste. So many kids in America are starving and have no where to live and this is the example she is setting for the american public. The economy is falling apart and she is looking fly to death…what the hell. Anyway, with all that said I love her outfit. Very cute.
