Beyonce’s Advice to All the Single Ladies
And I Approve This Message!
What a week its been. We’ve had music, laughs, cries, and heavy discussions and its been quite a while since I’ve posted a video with the lyrics so that the rest of us can sing-a-long with our kids and at least pretend we’re hip hop-ity cool (hhhhaaaahaaaa). So TGIF to my cocktail mommies. This video comes to you from Mrs. Beyonce, a mom who most certainly knows style and high fashion. Now for years I’ve been telling my single mommies that if a man (or woman if that’s how u role) likes “it” that much then he/she should commit damn it. AND NO ONE LISTEND TO MEEEEE.
Why is it that no one ever likes to take the “always right” advice when you’re married. Are we any “Less Cool” or “Out of Touch” with the social arena? Can we not offer you single ladies and moms out there the best advice on what it means and what it takes to “get that thang?”
Its been taught in business school, seminars, and webinars all the time to “Surround yourself with those that are BETTER, SMARTER, AND WISER than U. Someone who will take you from where you are in business to the next level in order to achieve financial growth, right? So why not apply this principle to relationships?
So for this reason, I want to say Thank You Beyonce. Thanks for telling my Single Ladies to “Put a Ring on It“, yah nasties. Now if this message rubs you the wrong way, then too bad, so sad. I damn near lost 3 pounds dancing to this song. Billy Blanks Who? Best 3 minute workout ever. Did you see those shoes? So without further ado:
