Fashion has made winners out of several hot mommies, wives, and leading ladies last night at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif. The celebrities made a statement with eye-catching jewels and accessories and as stated before with Jen from The Classy Closet on her radio showaccessories are the key to pulling off the perfect outfit.

The Red Carpet is no game and so…

Here’s my picks for Most Valuable Players:

  • Eva Longoria Parker: For an actress whose hit show Desperate Housewives wasn’t even nominated, allow me to get a little loud when I sayEva shut it down. This ripe red Reem Acra gown owned the Globes. Even though I am confident that she could breathe, and her cleavage boobies were getting ready to pop out, byt pain no gain right? All in a days work for this petite fashion goddess.
  • Beyonce Knowles: We doubt Elie Saab knew just how va-va-voom this creation would appear, curves on curves, dazzle on dazzle, as Mrs. Jay-Z strutted at the Beverly Hilton. Bonus Points to Lorraine Schwartz for topping it off with the perfect jewels. Don’t hate on the curves ladies, congratulate!
  • Jennifer Lopez: Again… NO WEDDING RING. There has been so wore a plunging shiny gold Marchesa gown and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Jennifer kicked off the evening as she quieted down the crowd for the first award, saying,

“Hello! Mama talking! Mama talking!”. I LOVE IT!

She presented Best Supporting Actress to Kate Winslet for The Reader.

  • Salma Hayek: Your stunning white gown hit to red carpet and I was drooling over how the cleavage was complimented by a classic handbage and flawless hairstyle. Salma, you never dissapoint.
  • Eva Mendes: Oh dear lord, YES, I know what you’re thinking: “She’s not a mom or wife Rhea, so what the heck is she doing in this list?” So here’s my answer: HELLO! This dress ROCKS. Eva donned a white silk Dior dress with a taffeta bustier. She complemented her look with a bold necklace from Van Cleef & Arpels and a silver patent Ferragamo clutch with geometrical pattern. At the ceremony, Eva, a self-proclaimed “proud Cuban-American”, introduced the Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Jorge Camara.
  • Angelina Jolie: Ms. Pitt paired her sparkly Atelier Versace gown with the Jimmy Choo “Emma” Satin Sandal. She finished off her look with “Platinum” jewels by Neil Lane. Angie’s luscious locks were done by David Babaii and makeup applied by Mary Burton. Her look was put together by the style genius Jennifer Rade (give this girl a raise please?).
