Get ready mommies! Christina Aguilera was signed onto to sing a song for The Spirit. What do you think about Falling In Love Again (Can’t Help It)? The song dates back to 1930, written by Frederick Hollander as a jazz ballad (it was the jazz age), with lyrics written by Sammy Lerner. The song was covered by Billie Holiday (1940), Doris Day (1961), Sammy Davis Jr. (1962), and many others.
It’s a whole different sound for the lovely, mama-licious Christina isn’t it? She sounds so sultry and the song itself sounds very Bond-esk to me, so you know that I had to download this track to my iPod right? Christina Aguilera’s lyrics, songs and music always makes me appreciate her vocal skills and this cocktail mom is smokin’ hot.
