I am superwoman by day, super mommy and super freak at night. I am looking forward to getting back to being a Stay At Home Mother (SAHM). My husband Damion is a Father (SAHF) and we’ve been married for 7.5 years now and its been an adventure I hope never to repeat.  He is my rock and my best friend who loves and supports all of my crazy ideas. I am a mother to 3 crazy and wonderful kids, Destiney(7), Damion-Matthew(2), and Daniella(1).  They actually think I’m pretty awesome too!  I love cooking, eating, shopping, and I occasionally enjoy a cocktail or two (but who’s counting right?). I look forward to meeting you and I hope you will enjoy your stay here at The Cocktail Cafe.

So why did you create this website?

Generally, I am a really busy mommy. The concept for The Cocktail Cafe came out of desperation after working endlessly as a marketing and business development executive.

I was depressed, stressed, and overworked.  I was a young mother, wife and yet I felt so alone.  One morning I got up, locked myself in the bathroom, rolled up in a ball in the corner on the floor, and cried until I laughed.

After hours and hours in the bathroom, my husband knocked on the door to check on me. My response?  “honey, I’m OK… Im just having a little ME TIME!

I am an avid blog reader and I enjoy connecting and sharing my thoughts.  I started this blog as a way to express myself and connect with other mothers who like me never seem to find enough time in the day for themselves.  I wanted to create a place where I could express myself and somehow celebrate the woman behind motherhood, marriage and business. Please know this,

At The Cocktail Cafe you’ll find fashion tips just for moms, reviews and advice served up daily.  Not just another boring parenting website but an online community offering to help parents desperate to find resources and opportunities to meet other mothers, make friends and offer their own advice on how they manage it all.
